Andy Susemihl has shared the stage with such rock
icons as Ozzy Osbourne, Guns’n’Roses and Seal. His
songs and guitar work have been showcased alongside
the work of such noted guitarists as Steve Vai, Joe
Satriani and Steve Stevens. Born and raised in
Germany, Andy first picked up a guitar at the age of
14 and soon became a name in the local rock scene.
After recording several albums and touring the world
with Bands such as U.D.O, the notorious lead singer of
the popular heavy band Accept, he moved to Los
Angeles, CA in the mid nineties.
Since his move to L.A., he was involved in many local
as well as international projects. His credits over
the last years include studio sessions with artists
and producers such as Richie Kotzen (Poison/Mr.Big),
Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix) and Shay Baby (Ozzy
Osbourne/Warrant) and companies such as Bayer,
Binorica and Wyeth Pharmazeutical.

Chris Marr was born in Wuppertal, Germany in the
golden sixties. He started to play piano at the age of
11 and switched to playing drums four years later just
for the sake of being louder.
After having mastered the drums he started creating
Sound-libraries for soft and hardware instruments.
Years later he started working as a producer. Artists and

The Unterschicht – the German term for the lower
social class - was formed in July 2006.
The debut album “Millionaire” was recorded between
August and December 2006 and released on “SM Noise
Records”.
Shortly thereafter, from March until October 2007, the
band recorded the 2nd album “Assurance & Surrender”.
The Unterschicht is currently involved in preparing
for their first live shows as well as intense
promotional activities.
